Iron Lung Eternity

The rabies and tetanus shots are vaccines yet no one seems to have an issue with getting them. Maybe cause there are less than ten known survivors of rabies once symptoms set in. Of those only one didn’t suffer from permanent & severe physical and neurological damage. There is no cure & treatment is limited to experimental drug cocktails and symptom management.

There are exponentially more anti-vaxxers than cases of rabies or tetanus. I understand their hypocrisy, its probably one of the most terrifying diseases in the world but it begs the question is the GENERIC CONSPIRACY THEORY worse than a drawn out death that eats holes in your brain in a month? How about the risk of sepsis from intubation? Or a perforated esophagus? Pulmonary oedema? Necrosis in the extremities?

I’ll put up with the possibility of GENERIC CONSPIRACY if a single shot will save me or anyone I care about from illness or death. Like a seatbelt or a motorcycle helmet. I suspect this will go the way of AIDs, anyone that knowingly spreads the virus or makes no steps to ascertain whether or not they may be infected (ignoring symptoms) might end up charged with manslaughter, even murder. Its easy enough to contact trace. Why are people taking this any less seriously than AIDs? This spreads & kills faster.

I don’t care much about healthy living & I hate the masks but I do it out of respect for others without complaining, cause its nothing. My friend welds all day wearing a respirator as well as welding mask. You can handle a bit of cloth. My grandfather started full time work at 8. He survived the 1918 pandemic at age as did my great grandparents, one of whom witnessed the first poison gas attack in Ypres & died for Canada.

These right-wing, traitorous pseudo-fascists dare claim to fight for our freedoms while gagging the REAL INDIE press, free speech & harassment. The Canadian alt-right is stitched together with delusions, almost comical sans the racist/classist/sexist undertones.

People have pointed out Black supporters of the Northern Right as evidence they aren’t a hate group. There are three photographed Canada-wide. They’re welcomed with open arms by a greasy fellow dressed like Cyrus from Trailerpark Boys. He’s posed next to a lone black man, who is welcome only for PR reasons. The entrance questions to some of these home-grown USA colonist cults sound like either suicide bomber recruitment flyers a scam, or both. Heavily opposed to socialism in theory, most, if not all have made use of one of the nation’s many programs from schools to roads, hospitals, cops & fire-fighters. They don’t understand this. They fight their own interests.

Their official platform is a vague shadow of the ex US whitehouse jockey. I’ve been called names, threatened & silenced all for asking questions. They must condemn me or accept their fallibility. This was fun but I have no more to say. The National Director uses military terms such as “my men” though they mostly seem to be low income ex conservative voters. Some have tagged on legalizing unregulated automatic rifles to the group’s causes, pandering like a chameleon stuck in a red light district.

Facebook finally flagged them as a hate group, now they’ve splintered without facebook or computer skills. As the province locks down they’ll be claiming the coup is coming. There are no communists. In a single day 45 lost his only chance at another term and they lost their growing media platform. They’ve been crippled since. They expected the yank wankers to come up and annex us for Mar A Lago and the natural director wanted to take the prime minister’s desk & replace our flag with that stupid symbol. I’ve no doubt he sees himself as a valiant knight but he lies with every word he speaks.

Trudeau’s father invoked the War Measures Act in Quebec against the FLQ. Invoking the act was discussed but dismissed for now. The PM can invoke the act during war or national crises and the moment he does no more habeas corpus or rights against entrapment or illegal search and seizure. If the government wants to surveil you then you will be. They have funds above and beyond. So the government did not fake the pandemic because it has cost the economy billions, a pandemic fell into Trudeau’s lap, if he wanted he could extend his power through the entire pandemic and use the Act to legally muzzle his opponents, who proudly threaten and insult him daily. Guy aint great but he’s the best since Chretien, plus legal weed is really hard to beat. Unless he made provincial narcotic stores, other than the liquor store.

2600 new cases a day in Canada. As long as these anti-vax, Alex Jone’s felching delusion en masse anti mask will thrive too. Vaccines only work if everyone healthy is vaccinated. If some refuse then this will be drawn out, much like their deaths by disease. Hospitals about to pass capacity in the ICU, for safety reasons the unvaccinated can’t get medical or dental care or even enter those buildings. The mingling alt-right, anti-intellectual jackals will be spreading every contagious disease able to live in a Toronto subway car. Hugs & hundreds.

The right is still united, they have simple goals and beliefs, they are tools of hate. No precision, no class war criminals. The left has been torn into factions by BLM, TERFS and identity politics. It used to bother me getting misgendered but I am androgynous and comfortable with myself, the facial hair helps me look more “Boyish.” Democratic socialism (Tommy Douglas Style) The life of a poet, libertine, junky, freak. Ever since certain subcultures became mainstream they stepped out of the closet & into a light & a branded lifestyle. The fun of pride was that anyone used to be accepted, even cutters like me. Now it too has been eaten by the capitalist Leviathan.

The only hope of slowing the spread of this apocalyptic fire is to contain it united. Pronouns and identity politics must come second. Attacking the ignorant will only Harden them against your next assault. There will come a time for that yet. When real fascism rears its head it must face a united front, otherwise everything my, maybe your grandparents fought for will go to waste.

The Line: A Far Right Front Group

I returned to the Free North Patriots facebook page in order to see what their position on Covid-19 is following the removal of restrictions related to the pandemic.  In stark contrast to their militaristic and vitriolic attacks they refused to comment and my message was soon deleted, aside from one member, Mike Klingbell of Lockport Manitoba who said “Go fuck yourself you authoritarian shit bag.” This attitude seems to be the norm whenever the group is faced with questions they find difficult to answer.

They continue to protest but there seems to be no cohesive reason for the protests nor a consensus as to whether covid-19 was even real. They range from anti-vaccine advocates, to anti-Black Lives Matter Protesters and neo nazi extremists.  They seem to have no unified purpose other than to oppose the federal government but individuals have espoused anti-vaccine, anti-communist and pro segregation viewpoints. Here are some images of their protests to put things into perspective.

The man in the left photograph is wearing a shirt with the German Iron Cross on it. The Iron Cross has been used by white supremacist biker gangs and neo nazis as a symbol of solidarity with Adolf Hitler’s failed Third Reich. It is odd for a group claiming to be Canadian “patriots” to openly wear the symbol of a defeated enemy nation.

The group has over ten thousand facebook followers. They are a right-wing nationalist group that uses fascist symbolism and fear of communism as tools to advance an extremist agenda. They are not united, are poorly organized and openly hostile to the press. Their members are overwhelmingly white and they boast openly about getting the police to arrest Black Lives Matter Protesters, which outnumber them significantly. The Free North Patriots are only one of many poorly organized far-right groups springing up in Canada and while they officially declare themselves to be protesting in the name of freedom their open use of fascist symbolism and violent, racially biased rhetoric from individual members suggests otherwise.

New Canadian Far Right Groups Openly Protest: Media & Police Do Nothing

They go under various names such as “Republicans of Canada” This group call themselves “Free North Patriots” seemingly unaware that American “patriots” invaded Quebec during the revolution and spilled Canadian. They have no openly declared leader and after questioning multiple members the only thing that seems to united them is a belief that Covid-19 is a hoax and support for US despot Donald Trump. 

The Canadian Patriots have planned protests in every major city across the country. They leave their houses, get in their cars, drive to the protests, walk into Queen’s Park without any trouble and hold signs saying their rights have been violated. After this they get back in their cars, drive home and face no obstacles or legal troubles. 

There is a clear narcissistic streak in the members of Canadian Patriots. They all claim to know some hidden secret that proves their various beliefs correct. When questioned further they became hostile and defensive. They have even advocated vandalism but in typical fashion their idea of vandalism is taping a sign with their ubiquitous logo.

They want Canada to open up. The process of re-opening has already begun and the order in which businesses are to open has been established. Their reason to protest is gone but the danger to their children and other family members is not. These ill-conceived protests are putting lives in danger for reasons that are completely non-existent. 

A video on their facebook page shows eight police officers standing in a circle and chatting, no weapons drawn, some with their backs to the protesters. The video claims this is a “heavy police presence.” In comparison the G20 protests had thousands of police officers, weapons drawn. Photos of the protesters show them standing apart, several with masks around their necks. Whether they did this on their own or were asked to by police is unclear. 

Free North Patriots is just one of dozens of similar groups popping up run by far right conspiracy theorists that believe their rights are being violated by the lockdown. They are copycat versions of the larger protests in America. Another group is called Canadian Republicans, unaware that Canada is a parliamentary democracy and not a republic. They are tied together by their fringe views, disbelief in the pandemic and loyalty to Trump, a foreign leader.

Most disturbing is the openly racist character of the Free North Patriots. This hate is targeted at the Asian community, who are already suffering from hate crimes. In a post from the page admin they denied all charges of inciting hatred.

Prominent member Corinne Hanley had this to say when asked if she had any evidence to support her opinions. “you didn’t loose(sic) any of your slave rights, correct(sic). keep rollin up the rim to win. the socialists controlling your world just love that. still putting neurotoxins in that java over at timmies? Where were you when China was invading Canada? waiting in line for your double double? How’s your social credit score? Don’t have one? Oh yes you do. And I’m sure it’s super high, the CCP will download a copy to your socialist handlers here in Canada when the next election is stolen. Wake the hell up.”
